Is TPM - Total Productive Maintenance - a practical tool? Can it really reap benefits to any organization independent of their turnover? Is it a mere papertiger like ISO9001 family or has some real power in it?
I personally am convinced that TPM works. It does wonders to companies at the micro level. Whether you like it or not, machines play a vital role in producing the quality products and its proper maintenance can only take the profit further. TPM is the tool.
